New Home Construction
When building your dream home, you need to have confidence in your contractor and their track record. You don’t want to make a mistake and you want to know the answers to a number of key questions including:
- When can you start?
- What is it going to cost?
- Who do you use as suppliers and sub-trades?
- What is the process and timing of each key step?
- When can we move in?
Tight Lines employs an open communication approach to ensure that you receive the information you want when you need it and when we need it. We work with our clients to ensure the decisions that need to be made are identified early so they have time to think about them and make the right decisions. We also provide you with options for you to consider that fit your budget, and strive to present the best products that deliver the most value.
Tight Lines employs a rigorous project management process when building a new home. This allows us to plan correctly, build a schedule that ensures on time delivery and identifies the key times in the building process where decisions need to be made by the home owner (ex. what flooring, what bathroom fixtures, doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, etc.). We also use this process to schedule our sub-trades so they are on site exactly when we need them, and that we don’t create delays.
Our open book pricing model provides complete visibility to the costs of materials, trades and other suppliers. This open approach creates immediate trust and confidence for our clients.
Our Services also include:
- Assistance with land purchasing (we have helped with the purchase of buildings with remote clients)
- Working together with architects, building officials and designers
- General contracting and project management
- 25 years of building experience
- Recognized as one of the areas premier builders
Tight Lines also offers new home warranty protection as a matter of course. We have a relationship with Travelers Guarantee who provides options to our clients. Travelers Guarantee is a property and casualty insurance company, incorporated under the Canadian and British Insurance Companies Act serving the Canadian building and other markets for many years.
